All pupils follow the Northern Ireland Curriculum and have the opportunity to study a range of subjects which are listed below. They are organised into broad ability bands and are re-evaluated at the end of each academic year to allow transfer between bands.

Modular Programme:
Assessment and Reporting
Exams are held in January and at the end of May and these are followed by an academic report for each pupil. Regular class tests take place throughout the school year, records of these being kept by class teachers.
In Year 10 the pupils sit exams in all subjects in January and then statutory assessment for English, Mathematics and Science takes place at the start of May. These pupils sit exams at the end of May in all other subjects.
