Drama Key Stage 3
Drama exists in 2 forms at the Belfast Boy's Model School. It is taught formally to all students in Years 8, 9 and 10 and is offered at GCSE to those boys who have a talent for acting and directing. Outside of the classroom, there is a Drama Club that runs after school on a Wednesday afternoon and a full school production each year. This year's play was "Tom Sawyer". Pupils get the chance to act, help construct a set or work with sound and lighting.
Pupils also experience the opportunity to audition for performances outside of school. Recently, pupils from the Boy's Model starred in a Translink Safety DVD and auditioned for a children's television drama.
