Physical Education Key Stage 4
All boys take part in Physical Education and Games throughout their time at school and in Year 11 the pupils have the choice of studying the subject as a GCSE subject.
At Key Stage 4 (Years 11 & 12) the pupils complete the GCSE Full Course. The exam covers factors affecting performance and participation in physical activity and the coursework looks at the effective performance and analysis of physical activities. In the coursework the pupils plan, perform and evaluate a health-related exercise programme and 4 activities chosen from Game, Gymnastics, Dance, Athletic, Swimming and Outdoor & Adventurous.
