Year 12 pupils from the Alternatives Programme at Belfast Boys' Model School are undertaking a horticulture course at the Wolfhill Centre in Ligoneil. Pupils are growing organic produce which include saplings (young trees), vegetables and flowers using a range of propagating and growing techniques.
The produce will be eaten, sold and used as part of another community based project based at Milltown Cemetery. In this project areas of the gravevard which are run-down are being regenerated through maintenance and the planting of new trees.
