Belfast Boys Model School

On Monday 23rd February, David Ashe went to the School of Music for the second round of auditions for the "Compose Yourself" project. Barry Douglas and Dr. Joe McKee interviewed David and he also had to complete a set of musical tests. Twenty pupils from a variety of schools were competing for eight places and we are pleased to announce that David has been successful yet again.

He will be learning how to play a concert flute in eight months and will perform with the Camarata Orchestra at the end of the project. His contribution to this project will be filmed and we will see David on television later in the year.
