Pupils from Belfast Boys' Model Alternatives Programme attended the Engineers week incorporating Engineered! A week of wonder, which was organised by the Queen's University, Belfast. The pupils attended the Hub Office of Northern Ireland Water for a workshop on and demonstration of the operation of the Belfast Sewers Project which involves two key contracts; The Sewer Rehabilitation Works and the Stormwater Management Works. The project is worth over £100m and is one of the largest and most important infrastructure investments in the city.
Staff from Northern Ireland Water and QUB ensured that the day was both fun and educational.
