On Tuesday 1st June the Year 13 Mentors held their annual P7 fun day. The Primary school pupils will be starting the Model in September and have enjoyed weekly meetings with their Mentor. The aim of the programme is to make the transition from Primary to Secondary as smooth as possible.
The fun day provided a great opportunity for the P7 boys to meet some of their new classmates and get a taste of life in the Model. They took part in a 5 a-side football tournament and a practical technology lesson. After a tasty lunch in the canteen medals were presented to the boys by Marcus Kane. Marcus, a Year 14 pupil at the Model, plays for Linfield and N.I. U18's.
A great day was had by all!!
