Aims

  • To give you the experience of work related activities

  • To learn skills for working life, through an enjoyable hands-on approach

  • To develop knowledge through practical tasks

  • focus on occupation and employability;

  • enable progression to other courses, training and employment;

  • help to raise levels of achievement; and

  • emphasise learning by doing, which helps learners to develop the transferable skills needed in a changing and dynamic working environment.

Key Stage 4

Exam Board: CCEA, 100% Coursework

Pupils can choose one or a combination of subjects from the range of courses below.
For each subject chosen, pupils must complete two units from the same occupational area to achieve a qualification.

Each module consists of:

  • Assesment Objective 1- 20%
    Recall knowledge and understanding of the specified content.

  • Assesment Objective 2 - 60%
    Apply their knowledge, understanding and skills in occupational contexts through undertaking relevant tasks.

  • Assesment Objective 3 - 20%
    Analyse and evaluate their work and make judgements about their performance, indicating where they could make improvements.

SF Digital

Paul is a vetted Squarespace Expert and a Leader of the Squarespace Circle Community where he tries to inspire and engage a vibrant community of creatives. Paul studied Software Engineering as well as Electronic Engineering at University, and Photography at College, before working in a variety of exciting roles in the creative industry before he founded SF Digital, building trusted products to help Squarespace creatives increase sales, engage visitors and improve user experience for their clients.
