Mr Mathers and Mrs Hammond delivered the gifts donated to the Stuff-A-Bus campaign to Frank Mitchell live on U105 this morning, Tuesday 18th January. The generosity of the pupils, staff and some of the local businesses is very evident from the photos.
Translink were overwhelmed with the amount of gifts we brought, filling a mini-bus for those children in Northern Ireland who are not in a position to ask for gifts for Christmas.
Theo (Head Boy), Lewis (Deputy Head Boy) and Mr Mathers spoke with Frank about the school’s contributions and there was a special shout-out for Danielle Hammond who provides a lot of support with her team in the school. Having only spent two and half weeks collecting money and gifts, the response has been terrific. Roll on next year, says Mrs Hammond.
