Belfast Boys' Model is currently celebrating being awarded the Irish FA's Gold School Quality Mark.  Mr. Colin Mills, Head of Competitive Sport at Boys' Model was pleased that the school was presented with the highest achievement awarded in schoolboys' football.  The IFA has recognised the school as a football performance school where Mr. Mills had already expanded and developed his staff coaching squad over the last few years.  They work closely with football coach, Mr Bryan McLoughlin who brings his knowledge and expertise of Irish League football to coaching sessions and games.

Pupils in the school's Football club will now have the opportunity to have support and guidance from the IFA Elite Department.  This will include coaching, strength and conditioning and nutritional advice.

The school teams are looking forward to competing in the new IFA School's Quality Mark Gold Leagues which are designed to give the best players in the country the opportunity to play against each other on a regular basis.  Some of the junior team members were hosted by the IFA to mark the presentation of the award and enjoyed a tour of the Windsor Park IFA stadium.
