Chanticleer

Chanticleer is known around the world as β€œan orchestra of voices.” It is a unique blend of twelve male voices based in San Francisco.  Their voices range from soprano to bass and they perform original interpretations of vocal literature, from Renaissance to jazz and popular genres, as well as contemporary composition.  This unique group of vocalists celebrates its 40thanniversary this season and as part of their tour, they visited Londonderry on Tuesday 22nd January. The senior voices of Harmony North had the opportunity to attend a workshop with 3 members from this group and then hear them perform at their concert in Christchurch.  It was a fabulous experience and everyone was in awe of the style of singing they heard. The boys who attended the workshop and concert were Aaron Nutt, Curtis Stewart, Glenn Doherty and Daniel McCalmont.
