2019 has been another fantastic year for the boys at Belfast Boys’ Model School. There was a great buzz in school today, as boys received their A level results. Staff and pupils celebrated as a record number of boys achieved the top grades of A*/A – 27% of all grades were A*. A strong balance of traditional general A levels and BTECs allowed boys to secure meaningful progression routes, including university places, the much sought after Higher Level Apprenticeships and worthwhile employment.
Some of the top achievers include our Head Boy, Theo Burton, who achieved 2 A* grades in Computing and Media Studies and an A grade in Government and Politics. Theo will study Computing Information Technologies at QUB. Ethan Martin achieved 3 A* grades and will go to Ulster to study International Hospitality Management and Jordan White with A* in Computing, A in Science and B in Maths will go to QUB to complete a Masters in Computer Science.
