A group of pupils from Years 10, 12 and 14 visited the Advanced Manufacturing Training Centre in Dundalk as part of their involvement in the FIT (Fast-track into Technology) project. During the visit, the pupils learnt about aspects of modern manufacturing, including robotics, cybersecurity and had the opportunity for hands on experience with VR welding.
The trip provided a valuable insight into the manufacturing industry and emerging technologies and the career paths in these areas. The pupils had a fantastic time, with one pupil saying "It was the best trip ever!".
