Men's Day

This week, we have been celebrating International Men’s Day, which took place on Wednesday. We have been focusing on positive male role models and the valuable contributions that our boys and men make to society.

Throughout the week, we have watched videos of staff and senior pupils sharing their male role models. Our Model Men Committee has led assemblies on the importance of International Men’s Day and what our boys can do to make a difference. In addition, boys have been exploring these themes during their pastoral lessons, reflecting on progressive masculinity and positive actions they can take.

Yesterday, we held a bake sale and handed out inspirational quotes from men from all walks of life. Our Peer Ambassadors and Streetbeat also ran workshops during break and lunch, focusing on men’s health, wellbeing and progressive masculinity.
