Year 12–14 Celebrate St Patrick’s Day

This morning, our school held a special assembly for Year 12–14 pupils to celebrate St Patrick’s Day. We would like to extend our thanks to everyone who helped make the event such a success.

Thank you to our Greater Shankill community partners and to Belfast Model School for Girls for joining us. A special mention goes to our guest speaker, Mr John Cusick, who shared insights into his extensive military service and his experiences of St Patrick’s Day while serving in the armed forces across the globe. A remarkable man!

We would also like to express our gratitude to the Piper, Mr Strain, who led the Principals, Mark McCleave, Head Boys and Head Girls from both schools, along with Joel, Ruben and Theo, all proudly wearing their Cadet uniforms, to receive a ceremonial shamrock on behalf of our schools.
