The annual Belfast Boys’ Model Primary 6 tournament was hosted at Mount Pleasant on Wednesday 9th May. Unfortunately, the weather was not as kind as it had been in recent years but this didn’t dampen the spirits of the participants or have an impact on the quality of football.
The 9 Primary schools competing were divided into 2 groups, with the eventual group winners Forth River and Harmony Primary School qualifying for the final. Harmony Primary School won a closely contested game and were able to take home the trophy for the second year in a row.
Credit must go to the Year 13 pupils who facilitated a very professionally run tournament and to all the Primary School pupils who battled against the elements to produce some fantastic games. Unfortunately some photos are not great due to the rain!
